CARTERVILLE — John A. Logan College (JALC) announced that it has become one of only 12 colleges in the country to offer TC2007 software, a program that allows professional money managers to analyze the stock market.

David England, who teaches a stock market trading class, said the software allows his students to sort through as many as 10,000 stocks and exchange traded funds (ETF). They will also be able to use it to tweak their technical analysis chart to predict which stocks will grow.

“The bottom line on the new TC2007 software is that it will allow our students to scientifically scan the market to find stocks that are either ready to bottom out and go higher or stocks that are topping out and are going lower, and it is extremely valuable data to anyone investing or trading market,” England said.

The TC2007 comes from Worden Brothers Software in North Carolina.
